"Thank you for coming to help us all the time. NFCA is my lifeline!" a Zambian villager named Kapaya Julies said to staff members from NFC Africa Mining PLC (NFCA), a holding subsidiary of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC).

The heartfelt words came on July 2, when NFCA employees visited three vulnerable farming families in Fitanda village, Copperbelt Province, Zambia, and provided practical assistance in the form of living subsidies, quality crop seeds and fuel for farm machinery.

With crop production as their sole source of income, the three families depend entirely on crop yields for their livelihoods and often face challenges such as shortages of agricultural supplies and financial strain.
